THE ZIPPER
Occupying a former used car lot at NE 27th Avenue and Sandy Blvd., this new one story commercial building contains four micro-restaurants, a bar, one retail tenant, and a coffee shop. All tenants share an interior dining hall and exterior plaza with tables and fire pits. The undulating façade features vertical fins with lenticular artwork by three separate artists, intended to animate the building for passing motorists, as well as pedestrians.
